This project involved constructing a base for a new residential garage. Firstly the levels had to be reduced and the foundations excavated. Once the foundations were shuttered and filled with concrete, first-level block work was laid and the oversite was prepared. Following this the steel mesh was installed and the concrete base was laid. The concreted base was then powerfloated in order to obtain a flatter, harder and more durable surface than a standard concrete finish.
